My sister starts a new school tomorrow. A new high school, to be exact. Having switched high schools myself, I know this is no easy feat. To help her get in the back to school groove, we went jewelry shopping! So, readers, without further adieu – my baby sister will now tell you about her new jewelry collection.

My name is Makayla. I’m Hanna’s favorite younger sister (sorry Jordan!) and today Hanna offered to take me jewelry shopping for the new school year. Clearly, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse. This year I’m transferring to a new school so I figure new school, new year, new me. We ended up shopping in Forever 21 and this is all the jewelry we picked out!

This picture definitely doesn’t do this necklace justice. It has a natural look with pearls and light peach beads. Although it’s not going to brighten up your outfit, it will add both texture and neutral tones.

MOOD: Classy, Sophisticated

HOW TO WEAR IT: Long and graceful. Enough said.

These were so inexpensive yet so versatile at the same time. The range of colors along with a little bit of sparkle make them diverse.  They also include two shapes of earrings, circles and hearts, that both can be worn with any outfit on any day.

MOOD: Simplistic, Young

HOW TO WEAR IT: These can be worn with anything! I would make sure to pair a pair (see what I did there?) with another accessory because they are so simple.

This set of earrings is full of class. Between the simplistic pearls and the black roses you can’t get much more chic!

MOOD: Timeless, Chic

HOW TO WEAR IT: The pearls can be dressed up with nice pearl necklace. The two sets of roses can be worn with just about anything.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw these I thought of Rock Candy due to the texture. Seeing as I love Rock Candy, I obviously had to have them! The size of the jewels grow smaller to larger as they progress down the necklace, along with the purple getting deeper too.  They dont taste like rock candy, but they look great!

MOOD: Fun, Preppy

HOW TO WEAR IT: I would wear this with colors that are lighter than it so the purple really pops.

This pair of light pink bracelets are just dark enough to not be considered pastel. They emanate the essence of Tarantino with a much more affordable price tag.

MOOD: Flirty, Blingin’, Spunky

HOW TO WEAR IT: Together they could be worn if you wanted people to notice them, but you could also wear them individually to be more subtle.

This set of bracelets is probably my favorite buy of the trip! They’re pastel teal in color and came in small pearls and jewels. How much better can it get?

MOOD: Fashionable, Flashy

HOW TO WEAR IT: These can be worn all together or separate. I would personally wear these with light, pale colors so they would match the color pallet of the outfit.

These colors are so in! The red and teal beads add a Native American vibe to this necklace. Seeing as I’m part Cherokee and Choctaw, I had to have it!

MOOD: Native, Trendy

HOW TO WEAR IT: I would wear these with my hair braided and my brand new moccasins to look like a full blown Native American. I could see my sister wearing this to work along with a black shirt and a white blazer.
